Introduction
Medical parasitology traditionally has included the study of three major groups of animals: parasitic protozoa, parasitic helminths (worms), and those arthropods that directly cause disease or act as vectors of various pathogens.
Course Aim
The aim of this course is to update your knowledge and skills in safety practices as you apply the
principles of microorganisms control in health care delivery. Your appreciation of the context of
infection control should also drive your urge for standard practice and quality assurance for safe
health care environment.
